COMBINING TECHNIQUES CONTINUES

There's not much to show in the way of progress on my current piece.....we've been busy welcoming our new family member....even though we are doing it from three-quarters of the country apart!

I've been adding a bit more hand embroidery, and if you look closely, you won't be surprised to find some bugle beads scattered around the sashing of the blocks.

I always bead using a Q-Snap frame (though I took off one of the clips for better viewing).  It was even more important on this project because the rusted light-weight burlappy (is that a word?) fabric is very stretchy.  It's coming together....hope to call it good shortly and then decide how to finish the edges.
