FELTED BASKETS

Some days it's just fun to play with paint, felt, and some stitching.  Actually this took longer than a day but the time passed quickly making these little folded felt baskets.

STITCHING AGAIN.....

You'd think it'd be a snap to select a bunch of black and white fabrics to piece for a background. The older I get the more indecisive I become. And yes, I have a design plan....oops I meant 'idea'. Let's see what happens.

TREES....

Trees have been the subject of my work for ages. Here's a look back at three. One was mostly done by machine, the next was hand stitched and beaded, and the final piece was all hand stitched.

Lately birch trees have caught my attention.  A few years ago my good pals Judy Simmons & Barbara Swenia created this triptych which sold immediately.

Another good fiber art friend, Kathie Briggs often features trees in her work too.  (This adorable piece is available)

And now here's a sneak peak at what I'm doing with the mono printed pieced background I shared recently.....stay tuned won't you??

THANK YOU FOLLOWERS.....

It's so heartwarming to hear from so many of you....wondering where I've gone. Thank you!! "The husband" has had very serious health issues....I hope we are now done with hospital rooms, ER's, & ICU's!

Obviously I've had little time to sew but have managed to turn my latest batch of mono prints into a pieced background that is still lacking further direction.
