LET THE FUN BEGIN

The countdown is on........The Great Smoky Mountain Quilting Tour begins tomorrow.....but preparations are already underway.....

First....I had to get the car washed.....welllllll....I'm picking up the owner of Traveling Together from the airport (the excellent.....superior....well organized travel company that organizes my events). I'm not sure what the reason is for all the colors in the various foams that are sprayed on the car during it's 'bath'.....but I find them to be almost batik like!

Here she is....Barbara Spohn......co-owner of Traveling Together arriving at the Asheville airport......we will spend the day working hard to put the final touches on our plans.....and of course won't have any fun at all!

We visited downtown historic Waynesville....where huge iron musicians greet visitors.

So....what's the famous store in this area that is known for their squeaky floors? We visited one in Waynesville today......there's another in Asheville.....
