The Pisgah Inn will be displaying an exhibit of quilts for purchase made by local artists from March 30 - Oct. 31, 2010. The Inn is located along the famous Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, NC. It's been dubbed 'The Peak of the Parkway' because it sits at 5,000 feet elevation. It's managed by the National Park Service.
Spectacular views such at this are guaranteed, especially from their glass walled dining room. I'll be hosting "The Great Smoky Mountain Quilting Tour" in August.....we'll be having lunch at the Pisgah Inn and enjoying a tour of the Blue Ridge Parkway.....join the fun!! To download a brochure click

This very large colorful quilt will be offered for sale by fellow PTA member Lynne Harrill.
Mary Berry, another PTA member, created this scrap 4 patch. Don't you love this clever setting?
Both of the pieces I'll have on display are whimsical wall quilts. 'Here Come The Hybrids' features 3-D veggies and a variety of embellishments.
'Be Lighthearted' is a motto we should all live by!
