A FINAL VIEW

'The perfect child' rides his bike (not motorized) and makes the climb all the way up this steep roadway which has a magnificent view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city of San Francisco in the background.

I can see why he makes the effort!

I'll have all new views to photograph tomorrow to share with you. I fly to Denver for a visit with the members of Colorado Quilt Council......my lecture, "Let It Shine" is Saturday and the workshop, 'What Goes Around' will be held on Sunday. Because I've taught for this wonderful organization so many times I'm really looking forward to spending time with some of the many, many friends I've made over the years and making new ones too.

We were in SF in October, it's one of my favorite places to visit!

Sigh...I love the Bay Area and SF in particular. We lived in Berkeley for 9 months when we were first married, and I remember well those views when you climbed anywhere. Since the in-laws lived in the East Bay, we got down there often for visits after bolting from Berkeley, but now I don't know anyone down there. Your picture makes me homesick, even though it was never really my home!
