So.....what do you do with your left-voer batting scraps??

This clever idea came from Christine Thres's blog......  She got the idea from looking at a QTip....simply wrap a length of batting on a wooden dowel and dust away!  Quilters are soooo smart!  Thank's Christine for allowing me to share this with my readers.

I use wool batting,so I cut up my batting scraps into long, 1" wide strips which are then rolled up to become the center of felted balls (like pincushions). The batting will shrink and felt the same as any wool in hot water with soap. It also saves a lot of money because batting scraps are a lot less expensive (free!) than roving or wool yarn. Thanks for asking.
