NUNO FELTED - DESIGN DECISION

Help me decide......please add a comment with your orientation preference.....

Fast Forward:  the beading/embroidery continued for several evening....
The last task was to go back and bead fringe from the center of the focal bead.

Before I put the backing on...and perhaps even do a bit more stitching on the edges.....I need your help.  It's surprising to me how many times lately that I've created a project working in one specific orientation and then after it's finished.....question that choice.

So.....here's view A......the way I had been working the piece....

.......And here's view B....  If you have a preference....please leave a comment....I'm in total indecision mode......   Thank you in advance for your insight!!!

well, this may sound contrary... but I think it would look great with the beaded fringe at the bottom... and the piece hung 'portrait' wise... just to muddy the waters even more...
I frequently put two hanging sleeves on a piece like this.

Personally, I like 'things' hanging off quilts...but I think with the fringe on the left side is best (think that's #3 pic).
Looks good either way!!

So hate me, but I was thinking the same thing as TheaM. I think it's definitely a portrait orientation piece and the fringe hanging down off the bottom edge a great element.

I definitely like the last version with the heavier beads in the bottom right corner. If you turned it to portrait orientation I think the bead/fringe would be too much in the center; I like the balance of it being off-center much better. As far as the 2 orientations you presented, do you think the preference depends on whether you are right-handed or left-handed?

And you'll hate me for this, but I also prefer it landscape with fringe on right. Its the focal point and you read left to right...so my eye starts at the left and your beading brings my eye across to the focal point
