A TRIBUTE

My blog was not intended to share anything more than my love of sewing.  However, naturally from time to time, personal subjects are mentioned.  BUT....I still feel there's a time and place for that.....(or not**).....esp. if you are concerned what-so-ever about the way too personal stuff being shared on Facebook and other social media sites.

There's a saying, you can choose your friends but not your family.  I grew up with 3 siblings, and yes I'd choose them again.  My younger brother Chuck who  was only 60 years old, lost his brave (and what I'd call heroic) battle with cancer on Easter morning.

He was just beginning the golden years of his life.  He and his wife had so many plans to fulfil.  He was a wonderful brother, loving and dedicated husband, excellent father, and a tireless caretaker of our Mom.

I will miss him terribly......  If this touches your heart.....remind yourself to take the time to tell your loved ones how important they are to you.....

Dang - I can't believe this has happened to you twice now. My brothers are all older than me by quite a bit so actually, this is on my mind quite a bit. Love to you...
