Several of you faithful readers (thank you for joining me!) asked to see my completed retreat quilt.....here it is.
I don't have a very good space to photograph large pieces.....so this looks a bit lopsided, not sure why the camera bends larger images for me.....
As you can see, I did simple straight line quilting (really, it's all I know how to do!) I used a variegated (greens) 40 wt. Sulky Rayon, in the hopes that it would blend with all the colors.
It's a lap quilt that will get lots of use so anything more was unnecessary.....
We are AGAIN having a winter storm....super cold for these parts with very high winds....I'm hunkering down and plan to finish beading my current woolfelt piece.
