One of the most special perks that has come with my career of quilting teacher is the quilters I've met along the quilting highway who have become very special personal pals.
I met Jackie Anderson, who was the instructor coordinator of Quilt Colorado of Colorado, years and years ago at my first visit to this super conference held in Estes Park, CO. She's a talented quilter, knitter, felter, weaver......and now beader!
Here's a detail of a scissor pouch she started in one of my wool collage workshops. She captured this fitting Colorado design motif, shimmering Aspen leaves, perfectly.
