WHY YOU AREN'T SEEING MORE FIBER!

Really.....I will get back in the studio soon.....

It's just that lately, there have been so many other activities on my schedule.  We have recommitted ourselves to make more of an effort to explore our surroundings. Western North Carolina is a mecca for outdoor lovers. The famous Appalachian Trail runs through our state and part of that trail passes through the Pisgah National Forest, which is right in our backyard.
We hiked Max Patch, which is often called the "Jewel Of The Appalachian Trail."  Click here for some amazing photos and learn more details here.  The vistas are breathtaking as it sits about 4,200 feet elevation. At this time of the year, on a weekday, it's fairly deserted which I appreciate.
Sooty, our black lab, took the lead on our hike.
The white blaze marks on the wood stakes indicates that you are on the Appalachian Trail.  Someone kindly provided these carved pumpkins for all to enjoy.

I have one more adventure on my calendar.....then I'll get back to work.
