A project I abandoned twice before is now underway....determined to conquer this time. Came up with a way to transfer a (belated idea) design directly onto a motif without risking traditional marking pens/pencils. This little transfer wheel from my garment making days was used to perforate the outline of the design through tissue paper and onto the fabric. It was just visible enough to accurately add the additional motif.
HAPPY DANCE!!

Not the first time I've seen a solution tip in the quilt world involving a tracing wheel from the garment sewing world. And yet, though I still have one, I never think to pull it out. Try try try, I tell myself, to remember this tip!
Same reason we never threw out hubby's ties! They wide and smaller widths always came back. We can always find a use for our tools too! HA
