FALL IN THE MOUNTAINS

We are early risers and happy about the time change...it's back to being light enough by 7:00 AM'ish to get out and do our daily 'forced march'.  We live in a mountain valley where it takes a longer period of time for the sun to come up over the Eastern ridge.  I just want to get the exercise part of my day over with as soon as possible!
And wow.....look at our scenery!  Frost on the ground and lovely golds, rusts, and some reds have now appeared just about everywhere.
The leaves are dropping now faster each day but plenty still remain to admire.  I'm not a fan of what follows, but one endures winter to be able to enjoy spring and fall!

I just got back from my 7am walk and am so happy that I can see to do it, I feel like the only person that loves daylight savings time. I like the way you are using the indigo prints in the previous post, square in a square has always been one of my go to patterns.

Your surroundings are beautiful...that would make me want to get up and move. I have to say I enjoy walking the girls in the morning. The fresh air makes me feel good and it's nice and quiet out!!! But my landscape is boring compared to yours!!

I love to walk in the morning, too, usually at 7AM. If I don't do it then, I tend not to do it at all. Your scenery is beautiful, a good enticement to get out there and walk.

ahhh.. beautiful fall colors! I'm not a morning person, so the walk at 7 AM would not appeal. But the scenery might make all the difference.
