Lifting the spirits of our San Francisco grandkids......2 very active little boys stuck inside while their parents are struggling to balance keeping them occupied while also working full time from home.
Perhaps these greeting cards (winging their way to SF now) will brighten their days.
Blank card stock, egg shape of card stock layered with felt, yarns, & zig zag trims.

Fun idea, would be a great activity for the kids to make too.
Parents certainly have their work cut out for them during this time. One blogger's husband did a Skype session with his grandsons in which he supervised him preparing a meal and learning to cook. They also play chess somehow, by photos back and forth. People are getting creative! A YouTube channel that I think is very helpful for kids is Cassie Stephens Art Lessons. She uses simple materials in fun ways. She has a blog, too. Maybe your grandchildren would find her activities entertaining (and instructional). The eggs are very imaginative!!
what a clever idea!!! They'll enjoy just getting the mail!!!
Adorable! I'm sure the kids will love them.
