MORE FELTING RE-DO'S

What's a gal to do when our monthly Fiber Junkie's meeting had to be cancelled due to weather?  Well....first pout!  Next, get on with it.....
DESERT SUNSET  9" X 11"
Wet and needle felted wool

Okay, I admit....I still wasn't satisfied with the re-do's of my 'girlfriend art camp' felted pieces. (see here)  With the roads impassable....I got out my felting supplies and added more needle felting to this piece.
Then I got out my beads (happy, happy) and perked up this bowl (the one I said would not be beaded!!)
Predictions are calling for a really big storm beginning later today - 7-10" of snow.  I shouldn't whimper as other parts of the country have had it much worse this winter....  Instead, I'll treasure the 'forced' studio time.....

What a winter you've had!! But look at that bowl (you weren't going to bead)! The felting just gets better and better.

Looks like we're both working on felting pieces this week. Your Desert Sunset piece with the needle felting looks great and the addition of all the beads to your bowl made it really pop.

Good thing to add those beads - now it is something special. Desert Sunset looks great from here. I know it takes a lot to cancel a quilt / fiber group meeting. I know I've risked life and limb driving through piling snow to be with the gals when nothing else would have put me on the road. In your neck of the woods, 7-9 inches is good reason to stay home.
