TRYING FOR INSTANT GRATIFICATION

Do you find that your studio time is disappearing? It seems to be such a struggle lately to carve out time to design....which often can be even more time consuming than the 'making'.

My inventory of embellished wool quilts for sale is quite small......usually these projects are very time consuming due to the extensive beadwork I add. And....right now I'm in need of some instant (well you know nothing is instant!) gratification.

So.....yesterday this 12" x 16" piece was begun......stay tuned.

Of course I'm already pausing the project because I'm packing for a visit to the Piedmont Quilters Guild in Greensboro, NC on Thurs. where I'll be leading students in two half day classes. The morning will be hand quilting and the afternoon......what else? Beading! My lecture "Let It Shine" will be presented at the evening meeting. Please take a moment to tell me you read this on my blog if you are attending so I can thank YOU for being a reader.

Well, I read your blog but I'm not at the class...does that count for anything?
