Stop already with this time change twice a year!! I've been up for hours...getting up before the sun rises is not unusual for me, but I've noticed the older I get the more impact the time change has on my body's clock.
It was worth it today to enjoy this beautiful view from my studio window. The sun is just beginning to peak over the Eastern mountain ridge here high up in our mountain valley.
The true pinker colors didn't translate.......my photos resembles a sunset more than the sunrise.....

I'm with you- it takes me a couple of weeks to adjust to the change every time. That's some beautiful sky though.
I don't mind getting up around 7 or so but don't like when 7 a.m. is still dark out! I don't like getting out of bed in the dark! But I don't like it getting dark at 5 in the afternoon either...guess we're never happy are we! HA
Your pic is really nice!!!
I'm with you too. The old body speaks more loudly to these disruptions of natural rhythms than my young body ever did, but I've never transitioned easily. And pets - they simply can't figure out what's wrong with you that you haven't fed them yet or walked or any number of things THEIR natural rhythms are attuned to. As I said to a friend who lives in a state that does NOT do time changes - STOP THE MADNESS!!!
