Again, I apologize for the poor photo quality.....I believe it's due to the camera's inability to decide what to focus on! Still, it's a fairly good representation of how various indigo dyed cottons and line drawn/stitched motifs were combined to achieve rich color and interesting details.
At about 100 hours, I gave up trying to keep track of the hours spent creating it. Already more ideas using this hodgepodge grid format are swirling in my mind.

Love it! I seem to be drawn to the indigo lately. I really like it with the stitch drawings.
Absolutely stunning!!
I love it also! A beautiful composition.
Love it!
Totally worth the effort! I know people say to keep track of the hours put into an artwork so you know what to charge but since most of us put in far more hours than anyone would pay us for, I find it depressing to know so try not to think about it.
Love the echo stitching around your bits of flora. I'm always interested to see how someone deals with quilting that kind of detail. This works perfectly. Worth the hours you've put into it.
Beautiful! I love your 'drawings' - fantastic skills.
BEAUTIFUL!!!! WONDERFUL!!!
Forget the camera--I have problems staying focused on one element at a time! There's just so many interesting things going on, I can't help but to rove around from one section to another. The indigo dye is beautiful, but I especially like your flora. How interesting and lovely!
Mary you are so right......I too have trouble focusing on more than one thing now......the days of multi-tasking are long gone for me!!
