SUNRISE IN CRABTREE VALLEY

Sitting in my studio, coffee at hand, while checking my email first thing this morning.....I glanced out the window to the East as dark began to turn into daylight......

We live in a mountain valley.....surrounded on 3 sides with tallish mountains, elevation 3,200 feet.  The Southern side is fairly open to long range views of numerous really tall mountains.....   I nearly tripped over myself as I dashed out on our porch to take this picture.....  Of course it's a reminder that we really should be taking time each day to stop and appreciate our surroundings....no matter where we live!  Mother Nature puts on a show daily!!

The best way to start the day! Unfortunately the sun won't be up here for another hour, so I'll just enjoy yours.

Since I'm rarely up that early, I rarely get a chance to see a sunrise. This is so beautiful - and the colors are all the ones I dyed last summer.

wonderful sunrise, I take photos too but they have built opposite me now and also have telegraph poles that also get in the way. Your colours are glorious
