SHOOTING STARS

I needed a break from the never ending single thread embroidery project that is still not completed.

So...what could be more satisfying than pulling out a piece of felted resisted dyed wool?  Answer:  pizza, freshly baked large chocolate chip cookies, or maybe a glass of bubbly.  But, that's not on the agenda for so many reasons....

Luckily, this 6" x 8" piece is ready to be devoured instead!
And so it begins.....matte seed beads around the stars and Burmilana (wool) embroidery thread to highlight the flower shadows.
Next comes some hand-dyed embroidery thread with some more beads to follow.
