GREEN LEAVES - PROJECT COMPLETE!

Persistence pays off.....sometimes it's the simplest designs that are the most difficult to work through.  In case you missed it, the process of making this piece was blogged about here and again here.

Forgive the poor quality picture....I must have shot it 45 times.....poor lighting doesn't provide the proper impact of the black and white fabrics.....grrrr!
 GREEN LEAVES  15" X 35.5"
Cotton fabrics, machine appliqued and quilted.

With the holidays fast approaching......our projects usually get put on hold.  So, I'm linking this post to Nina Marie's Off The Wall Fridays, as well as Crazy Mom's Finish It up Fridays, and Whoop Whoop Fridays.  They are a great place to find talented stitchers and much inspiration.

It's a great piece Mary and the picture does not do it justice...so much more vibrant in person...

This is so striking! I like the B&W graphics, and the quilting adds to the whole movement. The leaves themselves are so graphically interesting. I like a tree or leaf and this one is very pleasing. It's the kind of piece you'd like to see hanging on your wall, to look at each time you pass.

Very nice. It looks like the leaves are fluttering. Good effect.

Beautiful quilt! I do love the bright greens against the black and whites.
