Urban living is not for me......the open air & solitude of our rural setting is just so darn peaceful. However, that doesn't mean there aren't drawbacks to living 20 minutes one-way from buying a carton of milk.!! There are many. One personal negative is NO pizza delivery........yup it's my favorite comfort food!!
So, what's a gal to do when she wants pizza, esp. on her birthday?? Of course make it herself......yes, it was yummy.....

That looks delicious! Happy birthday. I think this is better than cake. And like you, we live at least 20 minutes from anything, so forgetting items from the store is a peril!

Well yeah! Can't count the times I've made favorites either because no access to someone else making them or I know I can make them better. That looks like a "I can make it better" pizza to me! Happy birthday. :-)

We had pizza on Friday night too, made it myself as well, no pizza delivery here either. Ours was Canadian bacon, mushroom, spinach and green onion, with white cheddar cheese.
