Funny how most of the time, my visions morph as the piece is created. But this one did not.....so happy with the results and the challenge of working with my energetic hand printed fabrics.

Your little black birds have great personality. I love the way the background fabrics and texture work so well as the base.
The pieced background is so interesting yet doesn't overwhelm the simple leaves that are the main attraction. Love the tiny black birds - the two on the ground look as if they are gossiping about the one showing off on top of a leaf!
I love it. The prints work perfectly as a background for your red trees. I need to get back to my prints. I've been playing with the heat press and ignoring just about everything else. Your piece inspires me to try something with mine.
