CIRCLES

Gosh, it seems as though I've been working on this piece for a very long time.....all my holiday activities slowed down the process!

In fact, to refresh your memory or if you are seeing it for the first time....visit here for step-by-step photos.  I'll also be sharing it on Nina-Marie Sayre's "Off The Wall Friday".

 CIRCLES  5" x 7"

Artist resist dyed & felted wool, raised bead motifs, and hand embroidered.

Felting has it's own particular challenges. I am doing some and find that the added texture is wonderful, but has to be planned for. So far, yours looks great.

Hi Mary, I love this piece. The beaded fringe is so interesting and really adds to the center.

Hi, Mary. I'm really liking the different colors of thread for the running stitch. Very pretty.

Love the beading. It just goes to show you how much beading can add to a piece. I particularly like the beaded fringe.

I think it's gorgeous with the beads along the bottom. I don't remember them from the last time I saw it.

Yes, yes....sharp eyes....the beaded fringe is the last and final touch for this tiny piece...as were the beads along the edges which helped to frame the scattered beadwork in the body of the wall hanging.... OR....did I just not want to put my beads away last night and now have to justify all those additions....grinning....
