Ever since my PT therapist gave the okay to use my rotary cutter (but to pace myself!) I've been plugging away on a Japanese art quilt. I've had a lot of sales success with this style, so creating another during the recovery phase of rotary cuff surgery is making me very happy!
Not sure whether I'll be able to machine quilt it yet.....as I certainly don't want to undo the rehab progress I've made.....stay tuned....

Looking good!
Maybe you need to show the therapist what the motion is that you need to do in quilting and see if they have any suggestions for how to approach it. The reaching forward part is probably not a good repetitive motion for you.
