Entering 7th post surgery week and obviously very frustrated by this long rehab process. PT is as painful as everyone warned....but necessary...
Here's my current least favorite exercise - ouch, ouch, ouch....
It's going to be awhile before I can sew again. Grrr! I'm trying to remind myself that everyone has assured me in the end, they were happy they had the surgery.....I AM NOT THERE YET!!

7 weeks- yikes. You must be stretched to the limit with all of this. Sure hope you turn a corner on the pain very soon. It HAS to be coming your way and you WILL sew again.
I don't know if you ever knew Pat Denino (who did some art quilting years ago) but she is going through the same right now and has many of your same observations (like the awkwardness of wearing a sling - literally counting the days until it can come off - and having to have so much done for you). The difference with her is that she knows as soon as this one is healed up, she has to have the same thing done to the other one. Hopefully for you this is a one off. Keep up the good work, even though it hurts!
