A nod to my home town, Sheboygan, WI. I will admit I've probably eaten a minimum of one brat a week nearly my entire life. My favorite Miesfeld's brat is JalapeƱo Cheese!

I got very fond of Klements brats when living in WI. Gave Johnsonville the shoulder - bah! Can't get the Klements brand out here in Idaho but of course, Johnsonville rules. My grocery store makes their own brats which are very good but this year when buying for my annual 4th of July brat fest, I went too late and they had just sold out. So I bought the Johnsonville ones and my memory was not wrong - they taste quite awful! Once you've had a decent brat it's hard to eat anything else. Would love to try this favorite of yours.
I love jalapeno's but not the 'brats'!! Not crazy about most meat...hubby loves them but only gets them at golf courses! HA

When I lived in Rockford, IL, near Wisconsin, I fixed brats (cooked in beer) and sauerkraut once a week because the whole family loved them. Now I'm craving one.
