After waiting to see how fall presents itself here in Roseville, CA......this was the scene that greeted us on the "early morning forced march" today.
The weather is taking some getting used to......3+ months of daily 100+ temperatures this summer.....and then it jumped right into chilly weather. This was also unexpected.....it was 48 degrees when we walked this morning. I no longer have to worry about snow/ice...hurrah.

It seems many areas in the country, including yours, moved from a late hot summer to an early winter (most skipping Fall). In So. Utah the change happened over a period of 2 short weeks. I miss a long and beautiful Fall. It is a nice reward to the hot summertime, and before a cooler (or cold) winter arrives). Maybe next year we'll all enjoy a beautiful and soothing Fall. In the meantime, keep an eye out for Fall colors and days (or hours) of Fall weather. Yesterday it seemed more Fall than Winter where I live.
