Worth rethinking my original idea....the results:

Artist deconstructed, hand-dyed, & Batik cottons.
Appliquéd, densely embroidered, & heavily quilted by machine.
Faced edges, and fabrice sleeve for hanging attached.

    Those background batiks add so much, and I love the contrast with the less patterned leaves. Cheers, Joanna

    I do like how you do the backgrounds in patchwork with the artistic applique over it. Just lovely.
