Oh yes! There's a farm style store half a mile from me. They put a big sign out last week announcing "The Chicks Are Here!"
As a kid, I remember this time of year too for when the chicks were delivered to the post office. We had a mailbox there and the minute you walked into the post office, you could here the chicks in the back. I thought that was so weird, mailing live chicks!
My goodness. I have to stay away from ACE hardware on Merrimon so I don't take home some of their baby chicks!

So cute. I knew that spring had arrived here when I drove along and saw all the tiny lambs that had started to appear in the fields.
