Lovely, lovely, lovely. Perfect edge finish and letting some of the flowers hang off the bottom really makes this piece special. As does the use of a more toned/muted background with the clearer brighter flowers. At first I thought the two just did not work together, but indeed they do. I need to get out of my box...

ReplyDeleteI really like your work I have not tried sun dyeing as yet ,but hope to soon.
ReplyDeleteThe piece is very beautiful. I wish I could see it in person, as I'm sure I could see more texture.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful piece. I wish I could see it in person because I'll bet the texture doesn't adequately come through in a photograph.
ReplyDeleteLove those deep blue flowers fading to lighter blue. Blanket stitch adds nice texture to the piece.
ReplyDeleteMary this is lovely. Does it have batting and backing?
ReplyDeleteIt turned out very nice Mary! Less beading than I would expect from you *wink, wink* but I love it!
