This would be a show stopper if that was so! So glad eyes are getting better...you will be doing a happy dance soon I hope and back to more projects. Hang in there! I miss ya!

Jackienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327638922473726598.post-70173688589634565722016-09-24T08:14:33.616-04:002016-09-24T08:14:33.616-04:00Straight edges are over-rated! Love the suggestions of hanging from something filigree. So happy that you are able to hand stitch again, comfortably!Kathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14835393634763024001noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327638922473726598.post-19543359925645817862016-09-24T01:08:13.039-04:002016-09-24T01:08:13.039-04:00tis s coming along so beautifully, here we call ...tis s coming along so beautifully, here we call the flower an honesty plantmargarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14225676137708827434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327638922473726598.post-16531539536819454552016-09-23T20:59:01.313-04:002016-09-23T20:59:01.313-04:00This is just stunning, Mary! A quilting friend just went through hers and she is having the very same problems- despairing over the lack of improvement, some discomfort, inability to drive or even do regular tasks. I told her about your experience and how the progress has been slow, but there has been progress to give her some encouragement. Hope she will have a positive outcome over time.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15432818284701098002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327638922473726598.post-30932866972282925552016-09-23T18:38:05.331-04:002016-09-23T18:38:05.331-04:00Mary, this is just a lovely, lovely piece!! I would add something dark along the top to finish it off and balance with the lace at the bottom, something that might mimic ironwork, cast iron, clamped onto it in order to hang it, or maybe some tabs for running an iron-like rod with filigree ends through. I don't normally do tab hangings but looking at this they did come to mind. The Idaho Beautyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09979439849662755082noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327638922473726598.post-64169412476324440312016-09-23T12:46:10.072-04:002016-09-23T12:46:10.072-04:00How wonderful to have your eye sight back to where...How wonderful to have your eye sight back to where you are comfortable hand stitching. I'm starting to get eye problems as well and it is a bit strange to think of not being able to see my hand stitching.
