Our area was inhabited by American Indians for centuries....in fact the Cherokee Indian Reservation is only about 40 mins. NW of where we live. Another clue besides the look of the tree is it's location......many trails/resting stops etc. were along side water ways.....and our tree is right along side one creek and very close to a second intersecting one. Quite fascinating! The Inside Storihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00984299652568523595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327638922473726598.post-60898563765063450792018-02-17T10:01:22.590-05:002018-02-17T10:01:22.590-05:00That's so interesting- and thankfully the deve...That's so interesting- and thankfully the developer didn't bulldoze the tree when building! I've seen trees like this, but never considered they were anything other than some natural phenomenon.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15432818284701098002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327638922473726598.post-26647283461986922962018-02-16T22:12:17.799-05:002018-02-16T22:12:17.799-05:00Very interesting, thanks for sharing.Very interesting, thanks for sharing.Kathy Pittshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13354287927133087634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8327638922473726598.post-69822481526145966552018-02-16T18:28:01.559-05:002018-02-16T18:28:01.559-05:00WOW...now we get history lessons in addition to qu...WOW...now we get history lessons in addition to quilting tips/techniques!
