I'm crazy about the color indigo blue......aren't you?? This little project consumed many happy evenings as I stitched and stitched.
INDIGO BLUE 10" x 8"
Artist indigo dyed linen, printed with natural foliage, bead embellished agate,
and hand embroidered. Mounted on canvas covered frame, fabric backed with hanging device.

PS, Mary. You might like to see some eco-dyeing posts done by a friend of mine in Florida. You can find some pics on her Facebook by searching for "Goatfeathers Studio". The eco-dye posts are around early April, so you may have to scroll down a bit. But they had beautiful results.
Such a soothing piece with the muted combo of blue and yellow. Adding the embroidery on the leaves is a perfect accent.
